Lycra Tail Tube Instructions

  • Wash and condition the horses tail
  • Gently comb through, then plait the hair from the base of the dock down and tie it off with a rubber band.
  • Take the tail tube and poke the plait into it, then pull it up like a sock until it is level with the top of the plait/bottom of the tail bone.
  • Poke your finger through the plaited hair and put one of the ties through.
  • Wrap it around to meet the other tie, tie them together, pull tight, wrap around again then tie into a bow.

After the initial tail wash and condition, you only need to take them out once a week, comb, and then hang in a clean tail tube.

IMPORTANT: NEVER TIE ANYTHING AROUND THE TAIL BONE ITS SELF, It cuts off the circulation.
