Lycra Tail Tube Instructions
- Wash and condition the horses
tail
- Gently comb through, then
plait the hair from the base of the dock down and tie it off with a rubber
band.
- Take the tail tube and poke
the plait into it, then pull it up like a sock until it is level with the
top of the plait/bottom of the tail bone.
- Poke your finger through the
plaited hair and put one of the ties through.
- Wrap it around to meet the
other tie, tie them together, pull tight, wrap around again then tie into
a bow.
After the
initial tail wash and condition, you only need to take them out once a week,
comb, and then hang in a clean tail tube.
IMPORTANT:
NEVER TIE ANYTHING AROUND THE TAIL BONE ITS SELF, It cuts off the circulation.
Nylon Tail Tube Instructions
- Wash and condition the horse’s tail
- Gently comb through, then
plait the hair from the base of the dock down and tie it off with a rubber
band.
- Take the tail tube and poke
the plait into it, then pull it up like a sock until it is level with the
top of the plait/bottom of the tail bone.
- Poke your finger through the
plaited hair and put the Loop Velcro tab through.
- Wrap it around and stick it
to the Hook Velcro on tail tube.
After
the initial tail wash and condition, you only need to take them out once a
week, combo, and then hang in a clean tail tube.
